KitchKeep: Pantry Tracker
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27 July 2026
KitchKeep helps you keep food in view and waste less. Your pantry data stays on your device.
Controller and contact
KitchKeep is offered by Zhang Yue (张阅) (“KitchKeep”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions or requests, contact osmondloong@gmail.com.
Scope
This policy applies to KitchKeep: Pantry Tracker for Android (package name com.pantryflow.app). KitchKeep is a device-local pantry and shopping-list tool. It has no account, server, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, or tracking SDK.
Information handled on your device
To provide the app, KitchKeep stores locally on your device the pantry entries, shopping-list entries, local item history, optional household label, and reminder preferences you create. This information stays on the device unless you deliberately export it through your device's share sheet. KitchKeep does not transmit it to us or to third parties.
Do not use KitchKeep to store medical, allergy, diagnosis, financial, identity, or other sensitive personal information.
Notifications
Expiry reminders are optional. Only after you switch reminders on does KitchKeep request your operating system's notification permission. A reminder can display an ingredient name and due date on your device's notification surface. You can turn reminders off in KitchKeep or in device settings.
No sale, sharing, advertising, or profiling
We do not sell personal information, share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, use advertising identifiers, conduct targeted advertising, or profile users. A “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control is not applicable to this version because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.
Purpose, legal basis, recipients, and transfers
For EEA, UK, and Swiss users, local processing is limited to providing the pantry features requested by the user. Notification permission is optional and user initiated. KitchKeep has no developer-side recipients and no international data transfers because it does not send app data to a KitchKeep server or third party.
Retention and security
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. We have no server copy to retain. Use a device passcode and keep your operating system current.
Your choices and rights
In Profile, every user can read this notice, export a structured JSON copy of local data through the device share sheet, or permanently delete all local pantry, item-history, shopping-list, and reminder data. Because KitchKeep has no remote copy, these controls normally address local access, portability, and deletion directly on the device. Applicable GDPR/UK GDPR and CCPA/CPRA rights depend on the law and circumstances; contact us using the address above for a request.
Children, changes, and complaints
KitchKeep is not directed to children. We will update this policy before releasing a feature that changes data handling. EEA/UK/Swiss users may have the right to complain to their local supervisory authority; California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or California Attorney General as applicable.
Website access
This policy page is provided as a public website. Its hosting provider may process limited technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the page. This does not change KitchKeep's device-local app data practices described above.
